To the Moon Mobile: a challenger brand seeking awareness amongst Tech and Fintech press

To The Moon Mobile is an innovative sim-only network with a first-to-market ‘fintel’ offering. They asked us to help them shout about their launch, with an initial focus on Tech and Fintech media.

Championing To The Moon Mobile as a first-of-its-kind mobile offering, we developed and implemented a robust press office launch campaign, which targeted specialist media in the tech, mobile, fintech and business space.

Outreach fell into key categories, from the announcement to leveraging the news agenda (maximising topics such as crypto and Black Friday), as well as profiling our spokespeople. This was coupled with a news-jacking story in the lifestyle space to pave the way for further activity.


Over the course of the launch month, Red Lion secured a total of 23 pieces of coverage across a range of media categories, introducing To The Moon Mobile to a combined readership of over 3.5 million. This coverage was shared with a further 200,000 followers on various social channels. Highlights included City AM, Fintech Review and all key mobile and finance trades.
