Lucky Voice: landing consumer coverage with the Marryoke service

We were tasked with driving media momentum for Lucky Voice Karaoke bars when there was no new ‘news’ to be delivered. This meant creating something for the media to write about – keeping costs efficient. Harnessing the summer wedding season, we created the world’s first ‘Marryoke’ package, inviting Brits to get married at Lucky Voice – singing their vows into microphones. Everything from the champers to the cake was taken care of; we even made sure there was an ordained minister available to make it official.

The result was a fun PR story that required minimal budget and secured national media coverage, with many adventurous UK couples getting in touch asking to ‘test out’ the service. Lucy Voice reported a spike in visits to its homepage, as well as an increase in overall bookings
