Argos: Building brand fame in the gardening category

Argos wanted to remind consumers of its quality and affordable garden range, and make it THE destination for garden lovers this summer.

Our response

We commissioned research that found  Brits are suffering from “Garden Envy, and that 71% of the UK want to outshine their neighbours with their garden.

We enlisted BBC Gardener’s World star Adam Frost to help tell our story in a light-hearted yet informative way, as well as offer his own advice on getting the best garden on the street. Argos experts confirmed the garden products that Brits love the most, and lent their thought-leadership to the outreach.

Media outreach across broadcast, print and online was underpinned on social with collaborations with garden-lovers Chloe Plumbstead and Daisy Payne who spotlighted hero items in Argos’ range.
