Do PRs read the papers? Well we sure do!

Our co-founder Ellen Durrant spoke to PR Week about research reflecting journalists’ scepticism when it comes to PR media consumption. We are big believers in this at Red Lion – our clients rely on us for an innate knowledge of the media, after all! As Ellen says, “It might be considered ‘old school’ to some, but the very first part of our day is spent reading the papers. Not only can it help inspire creative thinking and inform clients, it’s a chance to talk about the news of the day, debate it, know who is writing it and, ultimately, learn what makes a title tick.”
